Movement Monday! Today is one of the most fundamental & necessary movements in functional fitness & in life: the squat.
Start with a shoulder width stance with knees over the toes. Descend shifting hips back & down. Keep tension in core muscles & keep the chest up rather than collapsing forward. It’s helpful to fill your lungs with air & raise arms eye level before descending. Then exhale while pushing your feet into the floor & keeping your chest high.
These are the important components to master before adding weight.
